I should've known earlier that wilted STATICE looked even prettier. These have saved my pennies buying fresh flowers often. and they are cheaper, compared to Malaysian mums or roses. I'm a fresh flower freak. I don't use artificial flowers to decorate my home and this pretties are my saviour. 

I'm inviting you now to see my living room.

Kitchen Boss: Pork Binagoongan with tomato sauce

 My second cooking post na uma-ala Rachael Ray since 2011 (see this) less the

27" waistline. Hahahaha...

A bottle of bagoong was sitting in my cupboard for almost a year now. 

Good thing no expiry dates for shrimp paste(???).

So before I gobble a cup-full of rice, I inserted health in this viand.

I added ampalaya and tomato sauce into it to balance the fat and saltiness of this dish.

Husband's verdict?

Perfecto!

As I was posting these pictures, I just moved, replaced and added

Gab wants it not to be just a coffee nook but a drinking station

instead so he could place his favorite iced tea and Milo beside

that table. 

I guess, they have found their favorite place too.

I am not a caffeine/coffee person. 

Well, a person's like and dislike changes sometimes.

So that was a was now hehhee...

I am one of those who started loving coffee, just after the birth of

Raphael. I guess it's because of caffeine NO NO during pregnancy.

Caffeine deprivation? hahaha...

I've been searching designs of coffee nooks these past few weeks

and these were all my inspirations. 

Can't wait to let you see mine, turned all these ideas

into one.

I've been awarded as the "prettiest" Roadrunner in town (self proclaimed). 

Sooo exhausted for 2 weeks of to-and fro buying cements, sand, hollow blocks  etc. 

an exciting task though because we have to do that after office hour pa, 

so imagine the stress of making it before the hardware store closes.

Yah, I have finally decided to give my kitchen a bonggang make over. 

So enough of crafty works to beautify my home.  

I am now facing a much bigger, oh! way bigger gastos. hehehe....

Anyhoo, I have converted my other window to kitchen bar. 

More of like this(picture shown above/image from Kitchenimages.net).

That in fact, we just went to a depot last night catching up before it 

closes (again) to buy tiles and granite with the same style shown above.

Minimalist but not boring. An English country style kitchen with

a modern twist.

 Pretty and pristine. That'll be my theme. I so love it.

ring a ring a roses

My tatay bought 2 American red rose plants for me. 

I chose this over Korean orange and Salmon pink cause  I want to own the red one first, 

cause when I say rose,  I want it in red. 

It's classic and romantic.

These ladies were planted by Tatay in front of my house two weeks ago. 

Beside  it are the Hawaiian Palms which he also bought for me and I crazily wanted to own one. 

Php400 for each palm, and Php1,000.00 for the bigger one. 

That's how galante my Tatay is. and that's how he loves me. 

If these roses can survive my not-so-green thumb, then I'll go for the Korean orange next.

I picked 3 roses the other day and left 2 buds. 

Checked it this morning and it's still a bud.

So inip waiting for it to fully bloom.

or rather not wait at all 

cause I want to have long stemmed rose buds on my bed. 

yah, with breakfast.
